2011 King of the Hammers race was another great test for our competitors.

We had 11 rigs out of the starting 100 running with Bulldog Winch and 7 Bulldog rigs finished out of 47 total finishers. We had a lot of good feedback from the race as most competitors did a lot of winching.

Randy Slawson #4448
Randy had a great finish even though he battled some serious problems such as:

• Overheating on the 1st lap, stopping a coolant leak, making a thermostat housing gasket out of his seat belt leather.

• Fuel pump failed on 2nd lap and ended up switching it twice.

Doug Bigelow #4413
Doug finished 29th after 4 rollovers (1 at speed) and losing his lights and gps due to the rolls. We’ll never forget seeing Doug roll by on the way to the finish line with 2 flat tires and a headband flashlight lighting his way! Yikes.

Adam Carter #4433
Adam started 70th and cleared the 1st check point in 31st then lost 2nd and 3rd gear right after that. He managed to be fast enough in the rocks to finish 34th,even running the desert in 1st and sometimes 2nd gear.
